DEKRA Taiwan not only offers high-quality hardware validation, but also steps into testing of Artificial Intelligence (AI) voice assistants.
DEKRA is an Authorized Test Lab for Alexa where customers can work directly with DEKRA and utilize the DEKRA lab to test and submit their products for certification. During the test, DEKRA will use test automation and checklists provided by Amazon to ensure that products meet acoustics, music, functional, and user experience (UX) requirements. DEKRA will also generate certification test results in the form of Alexa Qualification Tool (AQT) reports and manual checklists, for submission to Amazon.
The main testing facility and whisper room are located in the DEKRA iST Hsinchu laboratory. This service will support local suppliers to complete the validation of their products to meet the Alexa Built-in requirements. In addition to being an Authorized Test Lab, DEKRA is also an Authorized Security Lab for Alexa. Customers can work directly with DEKRA and utilize the DEKRA lab for security assessment of their final product. DEKRA will issue a report that can be submitted to Amazon for validation and certification.
Currently the DEKRA Authorized Test Labs are located in Spain (Malaga), Hongkong, South Korea (Soul), Japan (Yokohama), Taiwan (Hsinchu), and Mainland China (Guangzhou, Suzhou, Shenzhen).
